Do people get free chicken wings on their birthday at JP Dwyers Irish Pub?

Yes on your birthday date you get however old you going to be that many wings or boneless wings of one flavor for free. So for example if you're turning 30 on May 7th, then on May 7th you 30 medium wings for free. You can only order in there but you can take some home and you must have your id to prove your birthday too. Plus don't forget to tip well.

Dwyers was financially overwhelmed after a Buffalo News feature regarding their bday wings promo, right?

I'd assume so, since they announced that they would be stopping the promo. The amount of people I personally knew that were going there for free birthday wings, was huge. Not to mention, the rest of wny. So, my guess is, they were losing quite a bit of money.

Was just informed that they no longer do free bday wings, is this true, was coming in next week for my grandma's 94th bday.

I heard they ended too, which I was upset cause I wanted to go on aug 26th. I would call them to find out before you waste your time, they're so good I'm probably going anyways

Last call is 3am so I'd say 2:30 to have time to get your orders out.

Do they take a reservation for 6?

Sure, but usually there is room for 6 people for just walk ins. But reservations never hurt.

I am bringing my 90 year old mother in on the 23rd. Is there a limit on bday wings?

There is not a limit, but we were told that you can't take them with you when you go. Must eat them there. Enjoy. And happy birthday to her!

My Brother in laws B day is 8/2 & my husband s is 8/3. Can they both get free wings on 8/2??? This will be my husbands last birthday in buffalo ... so I want him to get his fill. Lol

As far as I know no, you would have to go both days. You could go on 8/2 and ask the manager if you could get your husbands then but it'll be completely up to them.

Is this a family place?

Not really a family environment.

After striking out getting takeout at Prescott provisions and Dock Side, we remembered that Dwyers was just steps away (we came via boat in the canal). The burgers are insanely big and super delicious, and the service was also fantastic. Couldn’t be happier with how the night worked out! Thanks for always having our back, Dwyers!
